Cleaner Clock ("we", "us") is operated by Cleaner Clock Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17397388), with its registered office at 225 Clapham Road, London, SW9 9BE, United Kingdom. Cleaner Clock Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC229104. 1. What Cleaner Clock does

Cleaner Clock is a subscription app for self-employed cleaning professionals. It records working time, location at the start and end of a cleaning, before/after photos, client and property details, and generates PDF reports that the cleaner chooses to share with their own clients.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, app preferences.
• Business data you enter: your clients' names, addresses and phone numbers, property photos, notes, your hourly rate and earnings figures.
• Work records: start/end times, GPS location captured at the start and end of a cleaning, photos you take before and after cleaning, pause and alarm information.
• Bank details you choose to add (account name, sort code, account number) — used only to display payment instructions on the PDF reports you generate.
• Payment data: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We hold only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
• Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

3. Why we process it (lawful bases)

• To provide the service you subscribe to (performance of a contract) — accounts, work records, photos, PDF generation, notifications.
• Legal obligations — accounting and tax records for subscription payments.
• Legitimate interests — service security, fraud prevention, support and service improvement.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. Your clients' data

Details you record about your own clients (names, addresses, property photos) are entered and controlled by you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to record them; we process this data only to provide the app to you, and it is visible only in your account.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored with our hosting provider Supabase on AWS infrastructure located in London, United Kingdom (eu-west-2). Photos are stored in private storage accessible only via authenticated, signed links. Encrypted backups are taken daily.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and work records: for as long as your account is active.
• If you cancel, your data is retained so you can return; you may request deletion at any time.
• Deleted items go to a recovery area for 30 days before permanent removal.
• Payment records: kept 6 years as required by UK tax law.

8. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to processing of, and delete your personal data. To exercise any right, email hello@cleanerclock.com. We respond within one month. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS); data is encrypted at rest; access is protected by authenticated accounts with row-level security so each user can only access their own data; photos use private storage; backups run daily.

10. Children

Cleaner Clock is a work tool for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
